چکیده

Dyslipidemia is a condition of abnormalities in blood lipids, such as increased LDL and decreased HDL. Exposure to intracellular static magnetic fields (SMFs) can affect membranes modulate the number Ca2+ ions, which cell biological effects. Increasing ions will expression genes that help reduce levels an indicator CHD. This study aims see whether influence SMFs calcium levels, lipid profiles, SREBP-2 protein excretion, LDLR gene expression, affects process breaking down cholesterol. We used obese C57BL/6J male mice divided into standard HFD feed groups. The group was split Obes0, Obes2, Obes7, Obes14, Obes21 groups based on day exposure. exposure carried out with intensity Bmax = 2 mT for 1 h daily. After SMFs, there were changes cholesterol tended decrease Obes2 Obes7 increase Obes14 In addition, exposed have gene, protein, ion compared control. Although it managed after days 14 21, protein; hence, effect SMF risk However, research still needs be done regarding effective duration

The Inhibitory Effects of Static Magnetic Field on Escherichia coli from two Different Sources at Short Exposure Time

This study was intended to investigate the effectiveness of static magnetic field on the growth of Escherichia coli (E. coli) provided from two sources, the urine samples of patients with urinary tract infections and the reference strain E. coli ATCC 25922. Bacterial samples in Nutrient Broth were subjected to a range of magnetic intensities (2, 4, 6, 9, 14, 16, 18, and 20 mT) at various exposu...

Prevalence of major coronary heart disease risk factors in Iran

Background and aims: Coronary heart diseases (CHDs) contribute to mortality, morbidity, disability, productivity and quality of life. This study was aimed to determine the prevalence of major risk factors for CHD in the provinces of Iran. Methods: This study reported pre-existing data and was of secondary, descriptive type. Prevalence of non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors was def...

Static Magnetic Field Exposure Reproduces Cellular Effects of the Parkinson's Disease Drug Candidate ZM241385

BACKGROUND This study was inspired by coalescing evidence that magnetic therapy may be a viable treatment option for certain diseases. This premise is based on the ability of moderate strength fields (i.e., 0.1 to 1 Tesla) to alter the biophysical properties of lipid bilayers and in turn modulate cellular signaling pathways. In particular, previous results from our laboratory (Wang et al., BMC ...

Devices for gradient static magnetic field exposure.

We describe devices designed for magnetic field exposures in which field amplitude and gradients are controlled simultaneously. Dosimetry based on field continuation of high resolution magnetic field scans and numerical models is compared with validation measurements. The dosimetry variables we consider are based on the assumption that the biological or chemical system under study has field tra...

Anticancer Effects of Moderate Static Magnetic Field on Cancer Cells in Vitro

Background: Expansion of the use of magnetic fields in metals, mining, transport, research, and medicine industries has led to a discussion about the effects of magnetic fields and whether their strength is negligible. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of magnetic field on the viability and proliferation rate of HeLa cells. Materials and methods: We studied the effects of ma...
